What are they?
All public places and workplaces that are enclosed or substantially enclosed
Enclosed
> Roof/ceiling,
> four walls,
> windows and doors
> If premises are not enclosed then smoking is permitted
Substantially enclosed
> Roof/ceiling,
> less than half walls are open
> windows and doors count as closed
Exemptions
> Private accommodation including holiday homes
> Other accommodation which may be the person's home
- Hotel bedroom, guest room
- Prison cell
- Resident's room in a care home
> Specialist tobacconist
> Stage productions where it is an essential part of the show
> Offshore rigs
