Health visitors support parents to give children a healthy and happy start to life

We’re looking for views from parents or carers looking after a child under five years old about your experiences of using the health visiting service.

What happens in pregnancy and early childhood impacts on physical and emotional health through to adulthood.

To support this, we commission the health visiting service across Dorset, including Bournemouth and Poole.

Health visitors give information, advice and support from late pregnancy and through the first five years of life.

The health visiting service is provided locally by Dorset HealthCare NHS Foundation Trust and Virgin Doctors, in Lyme Regis.  It works with parents and carers to improve the health and wellbeing of all children through the national Healthy Child programme.

The online survey take less than five minutes to complete and will help us to review and improve the health visiting service.

The survey will be open until Monday 4 July. We will share the results on this website later in the summer.
