Dorset Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

When the Order comes into operation on 17th December 2025 the effect of the Order will be to:

  • Introduce a new one way restriction along the northern arm of D32209 from its junction with C13 in an easterly direction for approximately 123 metres
  • Introduce a new prohibited right turn restriction on C13 in an eastbound direction at its junction with the northern arm of D32209
  • Introduce a new prohibited right turn restriction for vehicles in excess of 3.5 tonnes maximum gross weight on the southern arm of D32209 in a northbound direction at its junction with the C13.

Dorset Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

When the Order comes into operation on 19th January 2026 the effect of the Order will be to prohibit all motor vehicles from being driven along part of Post Green Road, Lytchett Minster from the entrance to Lytchett Minster School in a westerly direction for approximately 160 metres, between the hours of 7.45am to 9.00am and 3.00pm to 4.00pm on every school day.

Dorset Council proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

The effect of the proposal will be to introduce a 30mph speed limit along part of Washpond Lane, Swanage, from its junction with the High Street, in a northerly direction for approximately 1.1 kilometres to its junction with Burnhams Lane.

Notice is hereby given that the Council of Dorset has made the above-mentioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

When the Experimental Order comes into operation on the 2 February 2026 the effect will be to prohibit the driving of motor vehicles on a section of Lenthay Road, Sherborne during the hours of 2:45pm until 3:30pm on every school day.

The reasons for proceeding by way of experimental order is to assess the effects of the changes before Dorset Council considers whether the provisions of the Experimental Traffic Regulation Order shall continue in force indefinitely. Relevant exemptions will apply where appropriate and as necessary in accordance with the provisions of the Order.
