Thank you for your interest in Public Health Dorset’s COVID-19 Trusted Voices project.
How it works
Ensuring people know what’s happening, what they need to do and where they can get support is key to preventing, identifying and controlling local outbreaks of coronavirus.
We have commissioned Community Action Network (CAN) to work in partnership with Dorset Community Action (DCA) to support the development of Trusted Voices in the community to help us better engage with the broad range of communities across the county.
Community Action Network (CAN) have been developing a network of Trusted Voices Champions who work with us to share messages with their communities as well as feeding back to us what support and advice their communities need. The Trusted Voice Champions include established community leaders, workplace leaders including, many in the voluntary sector and individuals who represent their family, friends and community.
By becoming a Trusted Voice Champion you can help us reach as many people as possible in our communities and ensure we hear genuine and accurate messages about what support is needed to aid recovery from the pandemic. Trusted Voices messages have included their experience with getting the COVID-19 vaccine, mental health support and other support available to community members during the pandemic, and more.
For more information about the project or to join us as a Trusted Voice contact Hannah Rees, Partnership Development Worker, email@example.com
